CHEESY PHILLY CHEESESTEAK SLOPPY JOES!

An amazing combination between two kings!

This is my most famous and required Super Bowl food: Vegan Philly cheesesteak sloppy Joes in cheesy sauce. A total crowd please, everybody comes for seconds and kids absolutely adore it! Also, so seriously delicious and very simple to make! You can tune it up or down with the spices and play with textures but however you choose to cook it, its going to be a success, guaranteed! Enjoy it!

Enough chitchat! Here is the recipe!

CHEESY PHILLY CHEESESTEAK SLOPPY JOES!

• INGREDIENTS:
• 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
• 1 onion, chopped or minced
• 2 cups of dry TVP
• 1/4 cup of soy sauce,
• 1 tablespoon of lemon juice,
• 1 cup of water
• 1 tablespoon of tomato puree
• 2 cups of chopped bell pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
• 2 tablespoons of vegan mayo
• 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
• 1 teaspoon of vegan Worcestershire sauce
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • 1.
    Turn your stove flame to medium. Add the olive oil to a skillet.

    Add the chopped onion, when golden brown, add the bell peppers, then the TVP, then the mixture of
  • 3.
    water/tomato pure/soy sauce/lemon, little by little until its all gone.
  • 4.
    Add the garlic powder, the nutritional yeast, the Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Mix to combine.
  • 5.
    Serve it on a brioche bun or a soft bread and on top of the Cauliflower cheese that we made last week and enjoy it!
