Enough chitchat! Here is the recipe!

THE ONE AND ONLY VEGAN BAILEYS!

• 5 TBSP demerara sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla essence
• 3 tsp instant coffee dissolved in 50 ml of boiling water
• Pinch of salt
• Pinch of cocoa powder
• 1/3 cup Irish whiskey
• 600 ml. (20.28OZ) coconut or cashew milk

Instructions

  • 1.
    Mix the coconut milk with the sugar and stir until sugar is completely dissolved
  • 2.
    Lower the heat, add all ingredients except the whiskey
  • 3.
    Let simmer on low heat for 30-35 minutes
  • 4.
    Turn off the heat, add the whiskey
  • 5.
    Mix with a hand mixer or blender for about 1 to 2 minutes
  • 6.
    Let it cool down in room temperature, put in the fridge. It's good for up to 7 days in the fridge. Cannot be frozen
