Love vegan cream cheese but don't want to buy it because it can be too pricey? Well, my new and improved recipe for cream cheese is here for you and I promise you are going to love it because it is delish and versatile, You will be able to make many recipes with it!

Enough chitchat! Here is the recipe!

PHILADELPHIA CREAM CHEESE.

• 250g firm tofu I have used firm tofu)
• 2 tablespoons vegan butter
• 3 tablespoons unsweetened cashew or almond vegan yogurt
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
• Salt, to taste
• 1/5 tsp white pepper (a pinch)
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp onion powder
• 3 tablespoons unsweetened vegan cream I have used oats)

Instructions

    Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend very well until very smooth; if you think your cream cheese is too hard, add a bit more vegan yogurt or cream, just bear in mind it could take time to blend, and you probably will have to open the blender and scrape the sides from time to time.

    Add the blended cream cheese to a clean and sterilized lidded container, close it, and put it in the fridge. Lasts for up to a week.
