VEGAN LOX SMOKED SALMON AND VEGAN CREAM CHEESE SANDWICH!

Carrot smoked salmon – Taste like real Salmon.

Vegan lox smoked salmon and vegan cream cheese sandwich will change the whole game for you, I promise! The carrot salmon tastes just like the real thing and the cream cheese is so easy it doesn't even need a video for that. Hope you guys love it as much as I do! Cheers!

Enough chitchat! Here is the recipe!

• 3 or 4 medium to large carrots
• 1 cup of kosher salt
• 100 ml (1/2 cup approx) of boiling water
• 2 TBSP soy sauce
• 2 TBSP olive oil
• A pinch salt
• 2 TBSP seaweed
• 1 tsp liquid smoke (or smoked paprika)
• 1 tsp sweet paprika
• FOR THE VEGAN CREAM CHEESE:
• 1/2 block of silken or soft or medium tofu
• 3 TBSP unsweetened vegan yogurt
• 1 TBSP lemon juice
• 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • 1.
    Wash and pat dry 3 large carrots
  • 2.
    Put them in a baking tray with the salt until they're almost completely covered by the salt
  • 3.
    Bake it in the oven for 1 h 40 minutes at 375 C
  • 4.
    Remove the carrots from the oven, let them cool
  • 5.
    Slice them thinly lengthwise
  • 6.
    Add to the marinade and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
  • 7.
    FOR THE MARINADE
  • 8.
    Add the water, the soy sauce, the paprika the salt, the seaweed, the liquid smoke, the oil, mix.

    FOR THE VEGAN CREAM CHEESE:

    Add the tofu, the vegan yogurt, the lemon juice, and the salt, blend it until smooth
